Sunday, March 8, 2026 – Revelation 18 – “The Call to be Untangled!”

This week’s reading from Revelation 18 casts yet another picture of the culmination of time and humanity following the pouring out of the wrath of the 7th bowl. The depiction this time zeroes in on the tangled deception that has been sown throughout all things carnal and commercial.  “What a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.”  The end time reality of a tangled web of deception will be hit close to home for the believers – both in its allurement but also in its significant negative impact on the daily essentials of life.  Early in the chapter, the voice from heaven calls to believers to “come out” from the entanglement before being snagged by its deception. It will be hard, but it will be worth it in the end.  Babylon will fall.  God’s people will rise!
