July 6: Ephesians 6:10-12 – Battle Lines

We are entering into the final section of our study of the ministry of the Holy Spirit.  For the month of July we will examine the nature and scope of Spiritual Warfare.  The key factors in understanding Spiritual Warfare are this:

• We have an enemy… and is he powerful… AND defeated.
• “Greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world.”
• We are at war both in the temporal and spiritual realms.
• War will remain until Christ returns.
• We, who are in Christ, win!

This week will take the 30,000 foot view of the scope of this war and gain a greater understanding on how we position ourselves for battle, how we fight this battle, and understand where these battles take place.  We stand in the strength of the One who is greater and rightly discern the power and limitations of our enemy and how he fights.
