First Christian Reformed Church was founded in 1923 by 14 families with a common Dutch heritage and the Calvinist Reformed faith.

In 1951, First CRC moved from 6th & Spring to new modern building on 12th & Dakota. The church grew to 560 members during this time.

In June of 1967, First CRC dedicated its current sanctuary. The building received an addition in 2009 to accommodate more classroom and meeting space. First CRC currently has close to 1000 members.
In 2023, First CRC celebrated 100 years of God's faithfulness!
